Valeriana officinalis
Sweet-scented flesh-pink flowers. The roots are a natural tranquilliser, promoting sleep and calming nerves. Flowers are used for one of the biodynamic preparations.
Sowing instructions
Sow seeds in seed trays in June-July. Harvest from year 2 onwards
Growing instructions
Transplant the small plants into pots and plant these into the garden in autumn. Planting distance 40 x 40 cm. Valerian requires a moist soil.
