Refund policy

We cannot add or delete items from your order after it has been placed online

Please ensure you have everything you want before placing your order. We cannot add items afterwards, nor can we delete.

You can however place another order and let us know. If we can combine them; we will refund the 2nd postage cost.

No returns for seed

To ensure the quality of the seed that we supply we do not accept returns. If we send you the wrong seed through our error we will send the correct seed and hope that you, or a friend, will be able to grow the extra seed that you have.


Poor germination

We take every care to undertake annual germination and quality checks for our seed. Natural variation and growing conditions will have an affect when it comes to growing seed. If seed you purchase from us does not live up to your expectations, and you can see no other reason as why it failed to germinate we offer a NO QUIBBLE guarantee until the “Sow by” date; please let us know and we will replace it. Please provide the batch number from the packet, if possible, to enable us to check the packed date and track any consistent problems, should they occur.


All seed sold by the Seed Co-operative is supplied in accordance with EU seed legislation. Germination tests according to the International Seed Testing Association (ISTA) are carried out with all our seed. Please note that variety descriptions are for guidance only and that seed counts are provided as guidance and should be regarded as approximate.
