Grow outdoor varieties in a very sheltered place. Sow at the end of April under glass in pots. Plant outside in May after last frost. Outdoor sowing is only possible when the soil has warmed up enough. Planting distance: 100×40 cm.  Seed rate (for direct drilling): 30-50 g/100 m². 1000 seeds= ~15-30 g.
