Lactuca sativa
A lettuce with crisp leaves but not as dense as a real iceberg lettuce. Slow to bolt.
Sowing instructions
Sow seeds from February in seed trays and place in light at a temperature of 18°C. Sow in situ from mid April and thin to 35cm between plants.
Growing instructions
Transfer seedlings into modules or pots and transplant into cold frame greenhouse or outdoors a few weeks later. Lettuce requires a fertile moist soil. Planting distance 35x35cm.
